Plenty of choice at farmers’ market

The next Buxton Farmers Market will be held at the Pavilion Gardens on Thursday July 4, between 9.30am and 2.30pm.

This month sees the return of favourites such as the Really Good Cheese Company with their selection of cheeses, while Dawson’s Yard will offer plants and crafts for the garden.

Greenwoods Bakery will be bringing a wonderful array of fine home-baked products including breads and pastries, Bobbys Bangers will be selling their delicious sausages and Inga Frost and Parkwood Pottery will offer wonderful rustic pottery for use in the home.

There will also be fine makers of chutneys, jams, cakes and biscuits, and Peak District Water Buffalo with a selection of buffalo meats.

Celtic Larder will be providing fine Scottish fare, while Scallion Fruit and Vegetables and The Green Tree Olives bring a taste of the exotic to Pavilion Gardens with their exotic fruits and speciality olives and Mediterranean-style foods.

• The Gardens’ Special Summer Outdoor Market, featuring over 60 stalls, will take place on the Promenade and in the grounds on Thursday August 1.
