Playgoers take a walk on the Wilde side

CELEBRATE the glamour of a bygone era, meet Oscar Wilde’s wonderful characters and rejoice in his biting yet glorious dialogue as Chesterfield Playgoers perform The Importance of Being Earnest at the town’s Pomegranate Theatre next week.

Described as a witty and pithy observation of Victorian society focusing on double lives and double standards, the production runs every night from Wednesday to Saturday, May 4 to 7, at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 3pm.
