The National Trailboat Festival took place at Staveley Town Basin over the weekend.

Dozens of small boats were moored along the canal towards Constitution Hill bridge.

Besides boat rides people were also able to enjoy canoeing, children’s rides, learn to drive a digger,birds of prey, model boats, face painting, vintage cars, a climbing wall, belly dancers, fire eaters, eight live bands, plus dozens of stalls including food and drink with a Real Ale Bar run by Brampton Brewery and featuring Brindley Bitter – brewed especially for the festival.
