Thousands of people turned out for this year’s Chesterfield Pride at the weekend.
The sun shone for the popular festival, which took place at Stand Road Park on Sunday.
The colourful event – which has been held for four years now – celebrated the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) community.
There was real party atmosphere all afternoon and into the evening with top singers, plenty of stalls and a funfair.
Organiser Dan Walker said: “The event went really well.
“There were well over 5,000 people – a real mix of the LGBTQ community, straight friends and families.
“All the acts went down well from all the talented local performers to the international pop stars.
“The event had a fantastic atmosphere and the feedback has been amazing.”
