Around 50 people attended the event, organised by Stand up to Racism: Chesterfield and North Derbyshire, which took place in the Town Hall Gardens.

It was one of a number of vigils that took place across the country after Monday night's attack at Manchester Arena, in which 22 people were killed and 59 people were injured, many seriously.

Among those known to have died were eight-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, from Lancashire.
