PICTURE: Travellers set up camp at Chesterfield supermarket

A group of travellers have set up camp on a Chesterfield supermarket car park.

Travellers at Sainsbury's in Chesterfield.

Approximately six caravans arrived at the Sainsbury’s car park on Rother Way yesterday with the police first being informed at around 9.30pm last night.

The caravans are still there this morning but one of the group told the Derbyshire Times they were just ‘passing through’ and would be gone by this evening.
