Thousands attended Rhubarb Farm in Langwith this weekend for the annual Langwith Community Show.

The show, which took place on Saturday (September 5), revival of the traditional produce show that used to run around 20 years ago, with some new extras.

Around 2,000 people visited the large marquee at the farm on Hardwick Street to take part in a range of classes for all ages, from handicrafts to photography.

Anita Bridger, admin and marketing officer at Rhubarb Farm, said: “It was a brilliant day and the weather was lovely.

“We’ve had some absolutely fantastic comments from people today, from both the general public and stallholders.”

Stalls selling crafts, bric-a-brac and raffle tickets were present at the show.

Entertainment such as magicians, a tug-of-war competition and a dog show also took place during the day.
