PANIC buyers have been causing mayhem at petrol pumps across Derbyshire with long queues reported.
Motorists have headed to petrol stations ignoring calls not to queue after the Government told drivers to fill up half-empty tanks.
Some stations in the area have ran out of fuel because of the high demand.
Here is an update on the situation at petrol stations in the Derbyshire Times area:
Shell garage on Chesterfield Road, Holmewood: Diesel in, out of unleaded, tanker delivery on Monday.
Jones Alfred, Matlock Road, Chesterfield: No fuel available until Saturday.
Duckmanton Petrol Station, Chesterfield Road, Chesterfield: Unleaded available, no diesel until tomorrow.
Brimington Service Station, High Street, Brimington: Unleaded and diesel available.
Walton Motors, Matlock Road, Holymoorside: No fuel, tanker expected Saturday.
Morrisons, Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield: One tank of diesel closed. The rest fine. Have a delivery today.
Brockwell Service Station: No fuel available.
Red House Service Station, Chesterfield: Diesel, unleaded and V Power available but no filling of cans allowed.
Morrisons Staveley: Have both unleaded and diesel
North Wingfield Service Station: Have both and a delivery later.
Sainsbury’s Chesterfield: Unleaded petrol but no diesel.
We have had unconfirmed reports of the following shortages:
BP, South Normanton is out of all fuel.
Tesco, Clowne is out of all fuel.
Sainsbury’s, Dronfield is out of all fuel.
