Items were delivered by the store’s community champions, Jane Clavin and Karen Pearson, and volunteers from the store’s team of delivery drivers.

The idea for the colection points came from Julie Glossop, who works for the British Standard Institute, and Sarah Sodden, from the Royal Mail.

John Coddington, grocery manager, said: “We would like to thank all our customers who donated items for their generosity and it is nice to show them where their donations went.”
