It's St George's Day and a time for the country to celebrate its patron saint.
We have been scouring the archives to find significant people with the Christian name of George who had links with Derbyshire.
George Stephenson, the father of the railways, is immortalised in the statue at Chesterfield train station. He lived at Tapton House before he died and is buried in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church, Newbold.
