The 60-metre, 40-gondola wheel was in the town between February 10 and March 11 in 2018.

It offered stunning views of Chesterfield town centre and surrounding areas.
The 196-foot attraction was brought to the town by Chesterfield Borough Council in partnership with operator Mellors Group Events.
It could be seen for miles around.
Did you ride it?
Before coming to Chesterfield, the wheel proved to be very popular in London, Liverpool and Leeds.
Some people claimed it was based on wooden pallets and raised safety fears - but operators insisted the attraction was situated on blocks which were more than capable of holding the necessary weight at each point.

The late, great Jack Reynolds absolutely loved riding the wheel at the age of 105.
