Businesses in the area have reported that the BT phone system is down ‘across the town’ this afternoon (Friday, January 31).
Chesterfield Royal Hospital said that calls into the hospital were being impacted due to an issue with the site’s ‘phone IT system’, and that contractors are working to resolve the issue ‘urgently’.
We have contacted BT for comment are awaiting a response from the firm.
