The annual charity event - which takes place on Ashover Show Ground - has now raised more than 90,000 for local charities.

Thousands of car and bike enthusiasts are expected to descend on Ashover later this month for its annual Classic Car and Bike Show.

The summer spectacular - organised by the Rotary clubs of Chesterfield, Chesterfield Scarsdale, Clay Cross and Matlock - draws in thousands of visitors each year and is widely-regarded as the leading event of its kind in the East Midlands.

Stuart Bradley, from the organising committee, said: This annual event has proved very popular with classic car and bike enthusiasts because of its ideal location in the Derbyshire countryside in the lovely village of Ashover.  Its just a good day out for all the family.

Entry for exhibitors is 5 per classic car/bike and one adult, additional passengers 5. No pre-booking required. Public car parking is free, admission is 5 per person (under 12s go free with an adult).
