Driver escapes with minor injuries after Chesterfield crash
A driver had a lucky escape after a collision with a HGV in Chesterfield yesterday.
The incident happened on the A617 yesterday (May 24), when the driver was travelling in a new hire car to collect his own car from the bodyshop.
After misjudging an overtake and coming off 'second best' with a HGV, the driver suffered minor injuries, according to Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit.
