Pensioner seriously injured in Derbyshire car crash
A pensioner was left seriously injured after being in a car crash in Derbyshire last night (February 15).
The 66-year-old woman was in collision with a black Audi A3 and some metal railings in Main Street, Long Eaton, just before 10am.
A police spokesman said she suffered significant head and leg injuries and was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre.
Officers have spoken to the driver, an 18-year-old man, and inquires continue.
