A pensioner has died after a collision in Derbyshire.
The 69-year-old was behind the wheel of a car that collided with a bollard, close to Higham Fisheries on Main Road, Higham, on Friday.
A Derbyshire Police spokesman said: “A 69-year-old man has died following a collision on Main Road, Higham, at about 3.40pm on Friday, May 19.
“The car he was driving collided with a bollard close to Higham Fisheries. No other vehicles are believed to be involved and an investigation regarding the circumstances of the accident is underway.”
