Peak District B&B is one of the friendliest in the UK
Julia Reid, from Stonecroft Country Guesthouse, collected her award for being a finalist in the AA Friendliest B&B Award.
All the winners were nominated by AA inspectors who rate more than 2,000 B&Bs throughout the country.

Hide AdThe annual awards were presented during a ceremony at the London Landmark Hotel on Monday.
The awards up for grabs included Guest Accommodation of the Year for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as the awards for Unique Bed and Breakfast, Restaurant with Rooms, Friendliest Bed and Breakfast and the B&B Story Award.
A spokesman for AA said: “Stonecroft Country Guesthouse offers guests a truly special experience as owner Julia caters for all lifestyle diets.
“After being diagnosed Coeliac herself, Julia trained and started catering for coeliac and other allergies and has Gluten Free Accreditation.

Julia said: “I am delighted to be recommended, let alone to be a finalist. It is recognition of everything that is important to us, to be friendly, welcoming, to make our guests feel relaxed and at home.
“We have many guests who return again and again.”
The winners received their award certificate together with an engraved Villeroy and Boch decanter for all their guests to see.
Glenegedale House on the Isle of Islay took the overall award for AA Friendliest B&B.
