YOUR VIEW: Spireites team was the least talented ever to wear the blue shirt

Since being schooled in Chesterfield during the early 1950s, I have been a loyal supporter of the town's football club, making regular visits to see them play live.

On this occasion against Lincoln City (Saturday March 10), the team selected by manager Jack Lester can only be described as the least talented ever to wear the blue shirt.

Sadly, non-league football awaits a famous club with a proud heritage.

Clubs visiting the Proact Stadium in 2019 will think they have arrived at Wembley.
