Letter: Where do I start with the mess Labour are making?

They say that they want better food security in these troubled times, and then put taxes on farmers, that results in the exact opposite effect.

They say that they want to protect the vulnerable in society, and then they remove the heating allowance for pensioners, that results in the exact opposite effect.

They say that they want to remove sleaze in politics and bring back integrity, then it turns out that one of them lied on their CV and that their leader accepted around £40,000 in freebies.

These people are either totally inept or totally stupid, or both.

My father was a Japanese prisoner of war, my grandfather was a fireman who died in the Manchester blitz.

When I think of the sacrifice that they made, to end up with these hypocrites in charge of the country they loved, it makes me want to cry.
