I have seen that there is yet another planning proposal for 15 holiday lodges on the Mayfields site at Hady Lane.

Planning has been refused previously, and for good reason. The area gets flooded regularly and throughout the year, for most of the time, it's a total bog there. Let's remember how much it rains in this country! Derbyshire County Council has previously made comments on the last proposal about the potential risk from mining on this site. Also, Hady Lane is narrow, car access and congestion has increased massively in recent years, and the site is next to a school with traffic chaos seen there regularly. In fact, buses frequently struggle to get access in that area because of cars that are double parked. Taking all of this into account, yet again the planning proposal for the site most definitely should not go ahead.
