At long last, something is being done about dangerous e-scooters on our streets after news of reports that e-scooter collisions have trebled.

Reckless, predominately young people are breaking the law by riding these danger scooters in public places, when legally they should only be ridden on private property. Any form of transport and its operators need regulating for safety. Many young children who ride them have no road sense. Walking is the best way to get around, great for our health and safer for all, especially for young people who need to exercise.
