Letter: Actions of passers-by were greatly appreciated in our time of need
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
When my wife tripped and injured her wrist, they kindly found us a safe place to sit and recover from the shock, then comforted her whilst I fetched our car.
After regaining my breath, they kindly helped to get her into our car for the journey to hospital. In my haste, I forgot their names, one from Ripley, the other lady from Heanor. My wife had broken her wrist and after an X-ray at Ripley Hospital it was put in a splint, so again thank you ladies and the NHS staff at the hospital. We now have an appointment at the fracture clinic. Thank you all once again.
