FWAG advisor still available

On Thursday, November 17, it was announced that the Farming & wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) had gone into administration.

FWAG was established in 1969 by a group of forward thinking farmers who were concerned about the dramatic loss of habitat and wildlife that was becoming apparent in those days. It was an independent Registered Charity and operated throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with volunteer committee members and a chairman.

Derbyshire’s chairman was a farmer near Carsington, who had invaluable input into Derbyshire FWAG and I was the Derbyshire FWAG adviser
