Big Brother is watching...

Amber Valley Borough Council has installed CCTV with high-powered cameras with zoom, in the four towns in Amber Valley.

New cameras installed.

Nothing new about them, they have been around for years.

They say it’s to fight crime, how does that work? Unless they can see round corners and through brick!

All these cameras are there for is to watch the public, people coming out of pubs and to see where motorists are parking, it is nothing to do with crime. Crime is the responsibility of the police not Amber Valley Borough Council.

Council tax is going up by three per cent, the police are asking for £10 more from ratepayers, so you can see why central government have cut back on local authorities and police, because they are wasting taxpayer’s money.

We should get rid of all these cameras and spend money on police on the beat, then you will see crime go down.
