Hide AdI have reported on the big events so far, with the exception of the Carol Concert.

This took place in the lovely Church of St Peter and St Paul at Church Warsop on probably the worst day of the year for weather, Sunday, December 8.
In the words of the song “The weather outside was frightful” but the atmosphere inside was “delightful.”
Members from Inner Wheel’s District 22, which covers the whole of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, were joined by their families and friends, all of whom came together to celebrate the season of Christmas and all that it means.

Hide AdThe cherry on the cake of this lovely afternoon was the choir from Birklands Primary School leading us in singing the first verse from Away in a Manger and then telling us all about “Whoops a Daisy Angel”, who had problems with her harp, whose halo was “never straight” and was “always late!”

Santa turned up too and guess who was on his naughty list. (Yes it was me, the district editor!).
What to look out for in the weeks ahead in Inner Wheel’s District 22?
Well, there’s the District Quiz, The IW Annual Conference in Harrogate, the District Rally, VE Day celebrations and an especially “hair raising” day for the DC in June.

Why not come and join us? There is always laughter, company and often food when Inner Wheel ladies get together.
