Pupils, staff and parents at Brigg Infant School in South Normanton are celebrating after their school was praised in an Ofsted report.
Inspectors rated it a “good” school with strong leadership, adding that it cares well for its pupils and provides good lessons.
It was also rated “good” in terms of its ability to keep on improving.
The report, carried out in June, said attendance was high and parents supported the South Street school.
The report adds: “The school has developed many strong links locally, nationally and globally which are very effective at developing cultural understanding.”
Headteacher Isobel Martin said: “We are delighted with the findings of the Ofsted report which highlights the exceptional care and support we give our pupils and the way we work in partnership with parents.”
