O2 launches ‘4G’ service in Codnor

Mobile phone company, O2, has introduced its ‘4G’ service to Codnor, allowing its customers to access high speed internet access via their mobile phones and other devices.

The company currently offers the service in over 600 towns and cities across the UK and is the only network to have made a commitment to provide indoor coverage for 98 per cent of the UK population by the end of 2017.

They have spent £600 million in 2015 on its network and by the end of 2017 will have invested over £3 billion in 4G and the modernisation of its 2G and 3G networks across the UK.
