'No drugs and no people found' in Hasland house raid
A spokeswoman said: "We executed a warrant at the property concerning a suspected cannabis grow. There were no plants and no people at the property."
But officers did find some 'suspicious' equipment at the house, believed to be used in the farming of cannabis.

But on this occasion officers came up more-or-less empty handed. No arrest was made at the property.
Residents were concerned as offices appeared at the property in Hasland Road, on Tuesday, February 14
Neighbours spoke of the ‘overpowering’ smell of cannabis from the property in recent months and added that a young couple that had moved into the property 18 months ago had not been seen for some time.
Officers conducting the search said they had executed a drug warrant under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
