A New York-inspired venue is set to open in Chesterfield at the end of May – creating a number of jobs.
Apartment will launch in Church Way, next to the Crooked Spire, on Saturday, May 23.
A spokesman for Apartment said: “This brand-new, forward-thinking venue will pride itself on offering quality cocktails, spirits and beers which will sit hand-in-hand with a humble yet big-city vibe.
“There will be a strong focus on giving a fantastic, unique experience to both the people in the town and the ones coming in from out of it.”
Events at the venue will range from personal appearances to salsa nights to whisky-tasting sessions.
It will also available for private hire for a range of uses.
“Apartment will not simply be a place to go, it will be the place to be,” the spokesman added.

Chesterfield is also getting a German-themed bar this summer.
Einstein’s will open at the site of the former Bar Centro in Holwell Street.
The bar promises to sell an “extensive range” of world beers, Derbyshire ales and cocktails as well as food.
Work is currently underway to transform the premises.
