New yoga studio to open near New Beetwell Street

Chesterfield Borough Council has granted conditional planning permission to applicant Taran Boynton to transform 19 South Street into the 'modern' studio.

Ms Boynton's company Holy Cow Yoga Ltd will operate the venture.

Classes will be held Monday to Sunday and nine jobs will be created.

19 South Street, which is currently empty, used to be a place of worship.

Ms Boyton said: "The busy yoga studio will increase physical wellbeing and health."
