Mr Ingman said: “We wanted to create a lovely place to shop with a unique experience where we can offer excellent customer service.

“We have a beautiful stock of shoes, clothing and handmade leather goods and we have also created a wonderful workspace for shoe repairs.

“We hope our store is good for Chesterfield and helps attract more people to shop in the town.”

The business also manufactures its own brand of high-end leather goods called Cobb England and is an official repair agent for Barker Shoes.

The store is the latest in a number of new opening and expansions in the town, which have included Go Outdoors, T J Hughes, Trespass, Patisserie Valerie and other independent retailers.
