Owned by a Greek family now based in Chesterfield, the restaurant aims to fill a gap in the market.

Konstantinos Diamantidis, of the restaurant, said: “My grandmother used to say that there is nothing better than homemade food and taught us to eat and cook only the best.

“Now, years later, we as a family will try to give you a taste of what Greek families believe good-quality Greek food tastes like.”
