Chesterfield is itching to try the food at upcoming seafood bar and grill, Catch 22.

Catch 22 Bar and Grill in Corporation Street is currently undergoing building work to set up for a mid-February opening, say its owners.

Work is well under way on the stylish eatery and watering hole, complete with an oyster and prosecco bar and giant fish tanks.

Bar bosses said they have the builders in today to finish the ‘Bottega Gold’ oyster bar and have just had tastings to finalise the menu.

New manager Levi Silcock added: “We have been creating amazing dishes this last week with our newly-formed team. Fingers crossed we’ve made the right calls for everyone.

“Our head chef is from Whitby and has owned and operated his own Whitby seafood restaurant. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience but most of all excitement to Catch 22.”
