New chairman for the Dales
The new Chairman of the District of the Derbyshire Dales is Councillor Peter Slack.
Cllr Slack, of Middleton by Wirksworth, has been a member of Derbyshire Dales District Council for the past 10 years and succeeds Cllr Tony Millward, whose civic year ended at the District Council’s annual meeting on May 23.
He said: “It is a privilege and honour to accept the position of Chairman of the District following on from Councillor Millward, who has been a great ambassador for the Derbyshire Dales.”
