Police who were looking for a 13 year-old girl who was missing for more than three weeks have announced that she has been found safe and well.

Alisha Moss was seen in Whaley Bridge at around 4.30pm, on Thursday, November 10, 2011, before she went missing and officers were concerned the youngster may have travelled to other areas including Chesterfield where she likes to visit.

A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said: “Alisha Moss from Whaley Bridge has been found safe and well in the Greater Manchester area.”

As part of the investigation, officers put up posters and stopped hundreds of motorists on Long Hill, in Whaley Bridge, during November, in an effort to find her.
