Mercedes stolen in house break–in
Thieves who broke into a home in the middle of the night drove off in the owner’s Mercedes Benz.
The car was taken following a break–in at a property in Alport Lane, Youlgrave, between midnight and 5.30am on Saturday.
The owner came downstairs to find a wallet, purse and a couple of watches had been taken, as well as the car keys and vehicle.
Police are now investigating the matter.
