Memories in new book

Residents of Brookview care home in Chesterfield supplied their poems, creative writing and stories which have been put together in a new publication called ‘That Reminds Me’ from Lowedges Writers Group.

The new book was launched at the care home, where it can be purchased for £1.

Regional manager Kaye Johnson said: “It is all about their history and includes lots of stories about land girls, husbands and boyfriends.

“I think the residents were very impressed that it was put together and published and they’ve all bought a copy.”
