Highfields School art textiles students took a trip to The Knitting & Stitching Show in Harrogate International Centre last week.

Students were very inspired by the work on show by a range of artistsand practitioners, and could see what is possible beyond the classroom.

Highfields head of art, Kerry Fairbank, said: “Enabling our students to see what’s possible in art and textiles at craft shows like this is very rewarding.
