Matlock: Life for Wayne Carroll
A man has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of killing his friend by smashing his skull with a rock.
Michael Wayne Carroll - known as Wayne - bludgeoned Alexander Blick to death in Matlock’s library gardens.
Carroll, 44, of Upper Greenhill Gardens, Matlock, was sentenced to life imprisonment – with a minimum term of seven years – at Nottingham Crown Court today (Monday). He was also be treated under the Mental Health Act.
