Man’s hand stuck in machinery in Chesterfield

The incident happened off Highbury Road, Newbold, at around 2.30pm.

A spokesperson for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters used small tools to release one male with his hand stuck in machinery.

"The male, suffering crush injuries, made his own way to hospital.”

No further information has been released about the incident at this stage.
