A man who burgled the same Chesterfield shop twice in a week had pictures of the stolen items on his phone and a Facebook message bragging about the crimes.
Craig Haynes has been sentenced to 16 months in prison for one burglary and 14 months for the second, to be served concurrently, after pleading guilty to both crimes.
Haynes broke into a computer sales and repair shop on Station Road, Whittington Moor, on November 14, taking items such as laptops and tablets.
He returned again on November 16, taking more property.
The 30-year-old was arrested in connection with the two burglaries and his phone was seized as part of the investigation.
Police found pictures of some of the stolen items on his phone and a Facebook message he had sent to a friend bragging about the theft and asking about selling the property on.
These two burglaries were committed just days before Haynes appeared at court charged with burgling a nearby shop in October, for which he received a suspended sentence.
Haynes, of Avenue Road, Whittington Moor, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court.
