Man’s tooth broken during assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man’s tooth was broken during an assault.

At about 5pm on Monday, January 6, a 32-year-old man was walking along Patchwork Row, Shirebrook, when he got into an argument with a man.

The man allegedly punched the victim several times.

The victim suffered a broken tooth, cuts and bruising to his face.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the assault and released on bail pending further inquiries.
