Man rescued from Chesterfield house fire
A man was rescued from a house fire in Chesterfield last night.
Firefighters from Dronfield, Staveley and Chesterfield were called to Blandford Drive in Newbold at 8.26pm to reports of a house fire with persons reported.
On arrival, the fire crews rescued the man and used breathing apparatus and hoses to extinguish the blaze.
The police and ambulance services were also in attendance and the incident was declared closed at 9pm.
