Man punched in the face in Alfreton

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Alfreton.

Officers investigating an assault are appealing for the help of the public to come forward with information.

On Friday, June 27 at approximately 11.10pm a man was walking along High Street near to the Bon Marche clothes shop when he was allegedly approached by a man who hit him in the face. This resulted in the man requiring hospital treatment to his eye.
