Man pulled to safety after jumping into Chesterfield river
A man who jumped into a river in Chesterfield was pulled from the water by firefighters.
Crews from Staveley, Chesterfield and Kingsway along with water rescue crews attended the scene off Holland Road at around 11.30pm last night (Tuesday, April 3).
The man, who had jumped into the River Whitting, was pulled to safety.
He was left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service. His condition is not known.
