Man jailed after being found with drugs in Chesterfield
A man who was found with drugs in Chesterfield has been jailed.
On Wednesday, March 22, officers stopped a vehicle on the A61 in the town.
The vehicle was searched and drugs were discovered.
After testing, the drugs were found to be heroin and crack cocaine.
Juber Miah, of Langdon Street, Sheffield, was arrested and later charged with the possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
The 23-year-old appeared at Derby Crown Court at the end of April and was sentenced to a total of 40 months in prison.
- A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and was released under investigation while enquiries continue.
