Man found hanging from tree at Derbyshire beauty spot

An inquest has been opened at Chesterfield coroners' court into the death of a man who was found hanging from a tree at a Derbyshire beauty spot.

Tom Bradshaw, 25, an unemployed man of no fixed abode, was found at 12.45pm on Sunday, January 24, near a caravan park off Inkersall Road near Poolsbrook Country Park in Staveley.

The member of the public who found him who found him called the emergency services, but Mr Bradshaw was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.38pm.

Assistant Coroner, James Newman, set a review date of Friday, April 22, by which time it is hoped the post-mortem report and police investigations will have been completed.
