Man dies after falling from bike in Matlock

A man has died after falling from his bike in Matlock.

Police were called at around 3.30pm yesterday (Monday) to reports that a 66-year-old man had fallen from his bike.

He was attended to by members of the public. East Midlands Ambulance Service and the air ambulance also attended, but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a file is being prepared for the coroner.
