Man charged after Chesterfield distraction burglary
Officers investigating a distraction burglary in Chesterfield have charged a man suspected of committing the offence.
Twenty-four-year-old Rudi Sykes, of Oak Close in Calne, Wiltshire, was arrested early yesterday morning (Tuesday April 12) and questioned during the day, said Derbyshire police.
He is due to appear before magistrates at Chesterfield Justice Centre today (Wednesday April 13).
The burglary happened on February 15 when a man entered the home of a 73-year-old woman on Boythorpe Road.
