Stars of Chesterfield’s pantomime have put a smile on poorly children’s faces in the run up to Christmas.
The cast of Cinderella took time out from their busy schedule to visit youngsters at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on Friday.
A hospital spokesperson said: “It was wonderful to see so many of the cast visit our young patients.
“They had such a lovely time meeting the characters who performed magic tricks, made them laugh and generally brought a bit of Christmas cheer to the ward and nursery.
“It’s such a welcome distraction for the children who would much rather be at home or with friends enjoying the build up to Christmas.
“It really made them feel involved the party and we’d like to thank everyone involved in Cinderella for making that happen.”
Cinderella – starring TV presenter Naomi Wilkinson as the leading lady and singer Rhydian Roberts as Prince Charming – is taking place at the Pomegranate Theatre.
